What floats your boat?

I love hearing other people’s stories.

Feeling seen and heard.

I enjoy creating for a cause that means something to me. I created the branding for IMPERFECTLY YOU, an online platform dedicated to the wellbeing of sex workers. https://www.imperfectly-you.com/whatsinside Created by Emma who is an absolute grafter and a sweetheart.

What gets your goat? 

When people question my rate. But also this is because I have an issue with money and struggle with it. It’s a ‘me problem’ for sure and negotiation is something I’m working on. 

Where would you like to be in 10 years time? 

Running my own agency called THE HAUSE OF PUSSAY. A place of unending education around sex, consent, the human anatomy and more. HOP will be a place of constant progress with a team that learns to work with confidence and self love. People will come to this warm, welcoming, cosy and kitsch safe space to talk about their trauma and notice patterns that aren’t serving them anymore. It will be a combination of art therapy and finding a purpose. Creating content to help people heal and to educate themselves and others along the way.

I'll have designed and created packaging for my brand of mushroom coffee & chocolate called COSY & KITSCH. There will probably be a psychedelic healing element to the product. [Future drug laws permitting]

I’ll have created a comic strip called "THINGS TO SHIT AND WATCH” that people read on the toilet. Not because it's trash but because we should take our time to shit. 

AND I’d have finished a pilot for my TV series script. It follows a half human half, Rottweiler crime fighting duo, Rae & Ruby: CRIME INVESTIGATORS. 

What are you working on at the minute?

The project I’m working on at the moment is called ‘WHO ARE OUR MOTHERS?’ A Podcast/ Photography project with a friend of mine, who just so happens to be a fucking great photographer, Tristana Carrasco: @Tristana_Carrasco 

What would Dead Satsuma do?

Leave it in the fridge until it’s gone mouldy.

I used to have this narrative in my head that I was stupid. It held me back in everything I did but I realised that voice was just a protective voice, led by fear. Since acknowledging that voice she’s not so loud. The voice just needed to be seen and heard in a way she never felt she was. Now I just tell myself I’m really fucking smart and I can do anything I put my mind to.

Sometimes I miss out words.

I hold a British and Irish passport so I can work in the UK and Europe. I have the ability to use various Adobe Creative Suite programmes, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I dabble in Adobe After Effects.

I am passionate about addressing significant issues adults carry from childhood trauma. I provoke conversations through my artwork and writing. I want to try to incorporate learning French into my creative process.
